The crux of the argument is this: the removal of royalties, while seemingly an opportunity for traders, has inadvertently set the NFT ecosystem back by removing an essential source of liquidity for projects.

How did you come up with the ideas

The idea for Sombra came from myself after discussing NFTs in 2020 with my friend and partner on Sombra, Demian Gordon. He is a vfx legend responsible for creating the VFX pipeline for the Matrix films and so many others as well as top level games
like Resident Evil and more. Together we wanted to create something that brought his years of experience in motion capture and cinema as well as my background and existing award winning VFX studio (bonfire.nyc) to the world of web 3 and NFTs. From that I started Sombra and began to build our NFT marketplace, our token infrastructure and NFT storyline. SINS, our NFT storyline and NFT multiverse was born from our live of cyberpunk culture and immersive storytelling.

What Makes this project unique

Our project is unique because:

1.  We are creating a VR television show that allows you as a user to walk through the show and immerse yourself in the action. The NFT avatars that are minted become characters in our TV show and grant rewards to the owners. Community can vote on the storyline as well as the avatar owners. Your 1 of 1 artist is showcasing their thoughts, ideas, and concepts out on canvas.
Ask yourself,
Is it something you resonate with?
Does the concept make sense to you on a deeper level?
What about this artwork attracted you initially?
Is it thought-provoking without being too complicated to understand?

Most of the time, if you have an emotional connection to the artwork, buying it (if it’s within your budget) is a good idea.
That is how many traditional collectors find underrated artists.
A conceptually-strong artwork leaves a strong impression to bring light and color to your world.

Background check on the artist

Run their socials(Their LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, Website),

Do they have work-in-progress videos?

Reach out to them to understand the process of creation,
Ask questions such as:
What equipment/software/materials did they use?
How long did it take them to complete the work?
Are they self-taught or took formal education in art?
Does the artist have a cohesive style that you like? Or do they have a varied style but are proficient in many mediums and techniques?
A legit artist will gladly share processes and decisions per artwork.
Do a google image reverse search for the artwork to make sure it’s original.

Knowing more about the artist will help you decide if the artwork is worth buying.

Colors

Good art uses good color palettes. According to color theory, some sure-shot palettes would include analogous, complementary, triadic, monochromatic, split-complimentary.
Does the artwork follow a certain theme that reflects an emotion?
Are the colors well-distributed and efficiently displaying light and shadow?

A strong composition revolves around certain focal points through some techniques such as:

How did you come up with the ideas?

Ross A Campbell, the lead artist is a well-known colorist, and worked for some big names in the industry like DC Comics. He decided he wanted to pursue his dream of one day developing a game, and began working on the handmade, 2d platformer he would call The Nest. Crowfolk are characters within The Nest, and they help the 2 main protagonists, Red & Blue, shelter from a life-changing storm that shattered their existence.

What Makes this project unique?

Crowfolk has amazing  art. The characters are drawn, inked and painted by a 10-year comic book pro with past experience in NFTs. Each crowfolk is of the highest quality with a clean cut style and vibrant color palette. If nothing below tickles your fancy, this is reason enough.

Crowolk have unique and quirky names alongside a moniker to hint at their separate personalities. You can expect that ‘Caldwell the Deranged’ isn’t going to be easy to get along with. Additionally each crow has a unique set of skill points for a number of abilities.

NFT Ethics has provided a thread that Cereal Club is likely a Rug.  For the following reasons:

• Dutch auction at worst would net the team $11m
• Team is completely anon
• No Real Roadmap
• Claims of Venture Capital and Fortune 500 Companies (with 0 evidence)
• Discrepancies in the discord between OG members and WL spots for mods.

As with everything in NFT space please do your own research. Not all projects are required to have amazing roadmaps / utility to be successful. In that case community is everything. With the discord being closed off, it’s hard to know what is really going on. We have contacted the team for comments.
